Since 1972, we transform and customize fabrics for clothing. We were born in Modena, Emilia-Romagna.
Sustainability and innovation represent our mission, through an attentive research for the best performance in yarns and the use of natural fibres and pigments. We are mainly focused on Research and Development, scrupulous quality check, utmost customisation through a tailor-made approach.
Our fabrics reflect the changes and the needs of the market and are inspired by the seasonal trends: to our historical proposals of linen, cotton, silk and viscose for the Spring Summer Collection, and heavy cotton, velvet, nylon and polyester for the Autumn Winter Collection, other tools are added such as stretched yarns, super stretch, modal, tencel, jacquards, yarndyes, resins, prints, bonded and always customized too under request.
All textiles products are created and developed by our internal Style and Product Department.
Concerning 100% Made in Italy fabrics for clothing, the raw material is wholly produced and processed by spinning and weaving companies in Italy. We are quick in supply and delivery of the required product, we have raw material in stock service, sustainable too.

Fall - Winter 27/28

The Fall Winter 27/28 Collection was created to enhance fabric through creative metamorphosis. Pontex challenges the nature of classic textile bases transforming them with finishes, garment dyeing, and coatings that radically overturn their hand-feel and appearance. Finishing is the main protagonist, capable of giving life to significantly different results on each fabric depending on the weave:
Clean satins twisted by a faux leather effect;
Cotton poplins where dye plays with surfaces, granting a different effect between face and reverse side.Bleached cottons that capture light in unexpected ways. Cotton moleskins/fustians with rubberized hands that reinvent their consistency, featuring a play of chromatic contrasts between face and reverse side; Velvets that play with the pile effect
Resinated fustians and cottons with deep double-color effects that give three-dimensionality to the finished garment
Furthermore, the collection features shiny and fluid items with sophisticated hands. This is the new Collection
