Leading UK silk house Pongees is celebrating 95 years' trading in luxury plain dyed, principally mulberry, silks, including satins, organzas, tulles and twills. Minimum order is just 1 metre and swatches, shade cards and catalogues are all available.
Pongees has established a specialist delivery service so EU customers with a VAT or a national tax equivalent can receive their orders fast and free of any additional import charges – just as they did pre-Brexit. Pongees has partnered with a firm in the Netherlands that manages all the customs paperwork and logistics to make purchasing from the UK very simple and cost effective.

Collections

For spring/summer 27 we are promoting fabrics in shades that epitomise sunrise and sunset to fit into the lifestyle trends for a wholesome, more positive, natural future.
As we have more an extensive range of fabrics, with some available in in more than 100 shades, we can also reflect the warm khakis, blues and teals that are being tipped by leading futurists as the colours that will deliver excitement and change in both 2026 and 2027 collections.
While most of our collection comprises luxurious 100% mulberry silks we also have blended fabrics, such as our polyester/silk Duchess satin, which is now available in ivory and porcelain as well as white.
Additionally, we are increasingly selling into the interiors sector with our douppions (now reduced in price) and our wild silks, both ideal for soft furnishings.
