Canepa 1966 continues to develop a distinctive textile language shaped by design, colour, silk, jacquard, tricot and a deep understanding of materials. Different areas of expertise come together in the creation of fabrics and accessories for the fashion and luxury industries, combining design sensibility with an experimental approach.
The Archive, with more than 15,000 volumes and documents, plays an active role in this process: not simply a heritage to be preserved, but an ongoing source of references, ideas and new possibilities. Materials and visual languages from the past are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, giving rise to new expressions and new creative directions.
