Nova Fides is a family-run textile company based in Prato, Italy. Built on people and experience, it manages every stage of fabric production in-house — from raw materials to the finished product.
For decades, the company has specialized in using recycled fibers from discarded garments to create 100% recycled fabrics, combining tradition with innovation.
It also works with virgin materials to produce naturally colored fabrics that require no dyeing.
Thanks to its high production flexibility, Nova Fides offers a remarkable level of fabric customization, balancing economic, social and environmental sustainability.
The company’s headquarters are powered by solar panels that generate more energy than required for its operations. Several stages of production are carried out with a significant contribution from solar energy, including weaving.
Reducing the impact of fossil fuels is one of the key goals of Nova Fides’ environmental strategy, part of an ongoing and closely monitored improvement plan.

Lana Moretta: fabrics made from natural dark sheep wool, traditionally considered waste as it cannot be dyed. Nova Fides enhances this uniqueness, creating naturally colored fabrics without dyes, saving water and energy, and reducing CO₂ emissions.
Undyed: the evolution of Lana Moretta, made from non-dyed fibers. By using natural fibers with inherent colors, Nova Fides avoids dyes and significantly lowers environmental impact.
100% Recycled: expresses Nova Fides’ commitment to sustainability, transforming waste materials into regenerated, high-quality fabrics. It tells the story of a sustainable consumption revolution.
