Pongees are silk specialists for designer day wear, evening wear, special occasion dresses, bridal gowns, lingerie, costumes and interiors. We have a minimum order of 1 meter.

We stock over 1000 fabrics, including chiffon, douppion, satin, stretch satin, crepe de chine, organza, jersey, twill, mohair and velvet.
Our EU customers can also enjoy receiving their orders free of any additional import charges (just as they did pre-Brexit). We have partnered with a company in the Netherlands that handles all the customs paperwork and logistics. A VAT/EORI number is all that is required.

As items are in stock, delivery is fast.

Collections autumn/winter 2025-26 and spring/summer 2026

We are introducing Italian recycled and low and formaldehyde free tulles, new colours in duchess satin and a crinkle georgette. There is also a group of Wild Silks, the yarn coming from silkworms that feed on a variety of leaves, which, when woven in traditional regional Indian styles, create fabrics with a distinctive rustic appearance that is ideal for fashion and interiors.

These new fabrics will be shown alongside on-trend shades in top selling qualities such as taffeta, chiffon, organza and crepe for autumn/winter 2025-26 and spring/summer 2026 collections.
