PYRATEX® element 3 - PYRATEX® element 3 is a soft jersey fabric made with agri-waste from the food industry banana trees and organic cotton. Banana waste fiber is more durable and absorbent compared to conventional cotton because it is derived from the stems of the plant, which typically have a high cellulose content and water-resisting properties. The PYRATEX® element family offers a circular solution to the banana plant's leftovers after harvest, also allowing local farmers to have an additional income stream. PYRATEX® element 4 brushed - PYRATEX® element 4 is a brushed fleece fabric made with organic cotton and agri-waste from food industry banana trees. The fiber has an overall low impact on the environment, the banana plant does not need any re-fertilisation of the soil, and can grow on the same spot year after year. It also needs little water, and requires no fertilisers or pesticides to grow. The PYRATEX® element family offers a circular solution to the banana plant's leftovers after harvest, also allowing local farmers to have an additional income stream. PYRATEX® life 9 - PYRATEX® life 9 fabric is an interlock, made with GOTS-certified organic cotton. Compared to conventional cotton, certified organic cotton is a low-impact and responsible alternative. It reduces field emissions from fertilisers and energy use and requires less irrigation. PYRATEX® solea 15 - PYRATEX® solea 15 is a soft jersey made from 100% Spanish cotton. The cotton used for PYRATEX® solea is locally grown across 400 hectares of farmland, primarily in Seville and Córdoba, where the warm climate and rich soil provide ideal conditions for high-quality fiber.Cotton is sown in April or May, when the weather and soil conditions are ideal for farming. The crop is ready for harvest in late September and October. During this period, gentle machinery is used to pick the cotton, carefully separating the buds from the plant without uprooting it or disturbing the soil. It is then cleaned and ginned in Spain before being spun and knitted into fabrics in Portugal. This collection is fully traceable from fiber to final fabric. By keeping our entire supply chain close to home, we minimise the environmental impact of transportation while enabling better oversight and quality control at every stage. PYRATEX® lino RIB 5 - The PYRATEX® lino collection of fabrics are made from European linen, with the fiber sourced from France, the world’s leading producer of high-quality linen. Our PYRATEX® lino fibers are spun in Poland and knitted in Portugal, enabling the entire linen fabric production process to take place in Europe. PYRATEX® mare 3 - PYRATEX® mare 3 is a jersey made from a synthetic material specifically designed by to replace conventional polyester. Our mare fabric is made from a degradable polyester engineered to prioritise recyclability and degradability. Thanks to its unique polymer structure, the fiber can fully degrade back into its basic components without releasing persistent micro and nano plastics. In addition to its sustainability benefits, this fiber has been tested for performance properties. Compared to conventional PET polyester, it excels in moisture management, particularly in quick-drying and moisture-wicking capabilities. This makes it an ideal choice for swimwear and resort wear. PYRATEX® recover 4 - PYRATEX® recover 4 is a soft velour developed in collaboration with Recover from a blend of recycled cotton and organic cotton. Recover sources post-consumer textile waste directly from brands/suppliers and textile sorters/recyclers. This waste undergoes sorting and treatment upon arrival at the Recover facility in Spain. Utilising Recover's proprietary technology, the textile pieces are fed through a shredding machine and then mechanically recycled into high-quality fibres. PYRATEX® recover 3 - PYRATEX® recover 3 is towel texture developed in collaboration with Recover from a blend of recycled cotton and organic cotton. Recover sources post-consumer textile waste directly from brands/suppliers and textile sorters/recyclers. This waste undergoes sorting and treatment upon arrival at the Recover facility in Spain. Utilising Recover's proprietary technology, the textile pieces are fed through a shredding machine and then mechanically recycled into high-quality fibres. PYRATEX® transforms these fibers into high-quality fabrics suitable for the fashion and luxury industry. The fibers are spun and knitted into unique structures by PYRATEX® in Portugal. PYRATEX® circ lyocell 3 - PYRATEX® circ lyocell 3 is a single jersey made with 100% lyocell derived from textile waste in collaboration with Circ®. The PYRATEX® circ family of fabrics features unique structures made from lyocell developed from post-industrial textile waste blended with FSC certified wood pulp, in collaboration with Circ®. PYRATEX® circ lyocell 5 - PYRATEX® circ lyocell 5 is a RIB derived from textile waste in collaboration with Circ®. The PYRATEX® circ family of fabrics features unique structures made from lyocell developed from post-industrial textile waste blended with FSC certified wood pulp, in collaboration with Circ®.
