The Associazione Cardato Riciclato Pratese was established with the aim of representing, enhancing and promoting one of the most distinctive and sustainable textile supply chains of Made in Italy: the Prato Recycled Carded Wool industry.
The association brings together companies from across the entire Prato textile district supply chain — from fibre sorting and regeneration to spinning, weaving, finishing and garment manufacturing — united by a unique manufacturing expertise, built on tradition, innovation and a genuine circular economy approach.
Prato Recycled Carded Wool represents a long-established production model based on the recovery and regeneration of textile fibres, developed within the Prato district through more than a century of industrial experience.
