Material Story

Every surface is a narrative. Every pattern is a map of sensations, weaves, and gestures that, through their repetition, recount the shifting essence of the present. The key word behind Ricamificio Lusi's floral embroideries is delicacy: like a mosaic of tiny tiles which, united in their geometric order, express an authentic refinement. The fabrics by Aspesi Federico blend into a chromatic dance of pink, blue, and brown, like a shimmering floral reflection rippling across water stirred by the wind. With Ricamificio Paolo Italy, material becomes a living texture: meshes, threads, and embroideries evoke the hexagonal pattern of a fence, hinting at the subtle shades glimpsed through it. The twills by Tessitura Mauri tell of a modern, almost futuristic dynamism. In the striped fabrics by Teseo – Tessitura Serica di Olmeda, cotton and silk merge with textile paper, forming a balance of naturalness and sophistication, like the disciplined harmony of contemporary architecture. Lanificio Moessmer instead offers a tactile fabric: yellow and beige alternate in weaves that catch the light, giving shape to a vibrant and imperfect energy. With Seterie Argenti, metallic threads intertwine with linen, creating semi-rigid yet lightweight surfaces, like a metallic texture that reflects light and softens its colours. LA LINEA proposes pure, fresh fabrics in cotton and linen, enriched by a micro-texture of tiny circles, echoing the repetitive simplicity of a city gate. In the cottons by Fabritex – Outside, the clarity of white and the depth of black coexist in a graphic, precise, contemporary balance, reminiscent of a flock of birds in flight. The compact fabrics by Airily feature modern, material patterns that recall the time-worn surface of red bricks, creating a perfect interplay of black, orange, and white.
