Hybrid nature

Eco-Sustainable Story

At times, nature seems to wish to remind us, with gentle persistence, that the planet belongs to her. She does so by seeping into human works, dressing them in leaves and roots, and creating settings poised between artifice and landscape. The branches of a bush stretch out to embrace a bench, wrapping it in an almost protective gesture that echoes the colours and textures of Casa da Malha’s organic cotton. Nearby, the elegant fabrics by TG di Fabio recompose the evocative image of the Ta Prohm temple in Angkor, Cambodia, where monumental tree roots clasp ancient stone structures in a timeless dialogue. Elsewhere, nature appears to make its way inside a home: slender branches and leaves pass through a window, recalling the textures and shades by Manifattura del Prato. The biodegradable accessories by Weavabel, instead, reflect the irregular geometries of a paved surface, whose lines of perspective are tinged with earth and grass, as if the ground itself were breathing again. Meanwhile, tree canopies seem to encroach upon the carriageway of a road flanked by fields, mirroring their hues on the organic cotton and viscose by M.T.T. Manifattura Tessile Toscana. The grey and greige tones by Tescalane meet in a delicate tone-on-tone interplay, evoking the shades of a tree driving its roots into a stone wall. Where nature takes over, concrete cracks and reveals the soil beneath, transferring its strength to the natural fibres by Telatex, imbued with authentic nuances. LMA’s eco-friendly jerseys are then arranged like panes of glass, between which small, unexpectedly born plants of intense green seem to have emerged. In ground that opens into irregular clods, a few leaves surface delicately, reflecting beige and green nuances onto the virgin wools by Botto Giuseppe. Finally, the stitching by Trapuntatura Bel Punto – MinervaHub traces rhythmic patterns that recall nature’s astonishing power: the ability to conquer and transform even a simple wall of pinkish bricks, covering it with a dense mantle of living ivy.
