Material Story

Let’s broaden our horizons and be swept away by the pulsating energy of Gen Z streetwear on a journey through the most visionary streets of Asian countries. A pastel pink advertisement dominates the sides of a city lorry, evoking the fresh, ironic tones of SC Print’s signature labels. Just a little further on, the delicate shades on the canvas by Colori Moda by Tintoria Butti blend with the twilight sky, reminiscent of the light makeup of a girl lost in dreams and thoughts. Another young woman, with a bold and fluid look, sports a meticulously styled hairdo: her glossy hair reflects the light just like Argopel’s sleek black accessory. The colours in the print by Camac Arti Grafiche burst into a pleasing chaos of shapes, echoing the joyful dynamism of a dance performance in a bustling square filled with shops and people. In a corner, a boy poses effortlessly in a jacket that seems made from the same soft, high-quality synthetic leather by Intesa C, while nearby a girl in red, wearing a perfectly matched dress and necklace, shines as brightly as the vibrant cord by Nastrificio Angelo Valera. The streetwear journey continues with another boy wrapped in a camel suede-effect jacket, recalling the almost velvety viscose by Giotex F.lli Giorgetti. Meanwhile, a model wears a denim shirt with a flawless cut, as if stitched from the denim by Offline by Eurotessile. In front of two vending machines, a girl – perhaps an influencer – poses confidently in her green blouse, as transparent and lightweight as the voile by Lisa – Top Project – Premium. Bringing this urban symphony to a close, the canvas by Juan Boluda displays a floral pattern that seems to wrap around a bus adorned with an advert for a Red Velvet album, offering that dreamy, Kawaii touch that makes Gen Z streetwear in Asia so uniquely captivating.
