Bringing sustainable and functional materials to the world by using KAPOK

A Company that creates products using the natural material "kapok," derived from tree seeds. The founder, deeply shocked by the mass production and waste system of the apparel industry, often cited as the world's second-largest polluting industry, was inspired to start the company upon discovering kapok. Kapok is a plant native to Southeast Asia, known for being 1/8 the weight of cotton and having moisture control properties, moisture-absorbing and heat-generating properties. However, due to its light and short fibers, processing it into yarn has been challenging, causing many companies to abandon commercialization efforts. After extensive research and development in collaboration with a leading Japanese textile manufacturer, we succeeded in creating kapok sheets. With a focus on producers, consumers, and the global environment, we aim to build a sustainable manufacturing approach that considers everyone involved in the process, from creation to delivery. To enjoy fashion now and to think about the future of the earth and the next generation. We are ambitious and aim for both.
