Everything started in 1881, when the Cerruti brothers established the wool mill on the banks of the River Cervo, but the turnaround came in 1951 with Nino Cerruti’s entry into the company, to take over a flourishing business which then underwent unprecedented changes. None of the textile producers before him had made the leap into the world of men’s prêt-à-porter, or to go even further, re-written the rules of style in the name of deconstructed and charming elegance which has its origins in one crucial prerequisite: extraordinary fabrics. Celebrating this concept in its collections, today, just as in 1881, Lanificio F.lli Cerruti is a synonym for “creative luxury” and a point of reference for salons throughout the world.
