Peaceful body

Material Story

Whether in the mountains, on the shore of a lake, by the sea or in the tranquillity of a gym, yoga invites us to slow down, listen to our breath and rediscover that deep harmony which reconnects body and mind, like an inner journey taking shape through places, colours and sensations capable of inspiring calm and wellbeing. Warmed by the gentle light of dawn on a balcony, the mind gradually frees itself from the noise of everyday life and drifts towards a place of absolute stillness, where sunlight caresses every surface and illuminates the silks by Les Tissages Perrin with warm, golden hues. Nearby, the black-and-white creations by Tessitura Corti seem to mirror the striking contrast of a waterfall cascading over dark rocks, spreading a delicate murmur of water that accompanies every movement and every breath. A perfectly balanced stack of stones stands motionless, a symbol of equilibrium and focus, while its shades are echoed in the buttons by Bottonificio Lenzi 1955. The refined embroideries by Mi.Gra. Since 1988 – Danive Mode appear to envelop the instructor as she lights an incense stick, allowing its fragrance to spread slowly through the space and transform the setting into a sanctuary of peace. The practice begins. Muscles lengthen, tensions dissolve, and the fresh jerseys by Santex 24 gently caress the skin. With every inhalation and exhalation, we feel increasingly immersed in nature, surrounded by the shades of green and blue that characterise Eusebio’s fabrics and evoke the serenity of an unspoilt mountain landscape. When our eyes open once more, the clean lines and geometric forms of the room reveal themselves with renewed clarity, creating the same refined contrasts that animate Angelico’s wool fabrics. On the mat, the delicate pink and pale blue tones by Tesj Divisione di Pontoglio blend harmoniously, accompanying each movement with a sense of balance and lightness. Meanwhile, a peaceful beach welcomes us with its natural mosaic of pebbles, whose shapes and textures recall the knitwear and quilting by Quality Textiles. Finally, Barig I Nastri guides us into the last posture, the Crescent Lunge, through which the body opens gracefully towards the sky while accumulated tensions slowly melt away, allowing us to regain a genuine sense of balance that remains with us beyond the practice itself, like a silent echo of peace, presence and renewed energy.
