Product and Description

  • PYRATEX® Ter 4
  • The PYRATEX® TER 4 is a fin rib structure made from a blend of regenerative cotton and 5% elastane.

Regenerative cotton represents a more holistic and ecologically focused approach to farming when compared to organic cotton. While organic cotton emphasises the elimination of synthetic pesticides, fertilisers, and harmful chemicals, regenerative cotton expands upon this foundation by focusing on restoring soil health, contributing to local biodiversity, maintaining the water cycle and integrating ecosystem services.

Regnerative farming is actually an age old technique that was used by farmers in the past before the introduction of GMOs. Today you can find small local communities resorting back to these traditional practices.

It often involves the implementation of farming techniques like cover crops, crop rotation and intercropping to maintain soil fertility, reduce water usage, and enhance carbon sequestration. Furthermore, through the use of these traditional farming techniques, farmers are able to maintain a steady supply of crops and by extension, income throughout the years thanks to the various yields.

The regenerative cotton fiber used in this blend is certified regenagri, an international regenerative agriculture program for securing the health of the land and the welfare of those who live on it.
