Flannel is a long standing cloth within our Heritage Collection. The word flannel may be derived from the Welsh word ‘gwalnen’ meaning woollen cloth. Flannel was originally made as a comfortable, soft and slightly napped wool cloth and became popular in the 1920’s for trousering. RWSFL280 uses Superfine Merino wool to create a cloth that has a beautifully soft hand and excellent drape.
