A Story of Serendipity
An ode to the unexpected, Story of Serendipity for Autumn/ Winter 2027 captures the quiet joy of discovery, when inspiration reveals itself in the intimate details. Rooted in the inner workings of the artist’s mind, the collection begins with a journey through museums, galleries, and archives. Decorative fragments and intricate techniques are observed and reimagined through a distinctly artistic lens.
Guided by curiosity, the Liberty design studio examined materiality in all its forms. From textiles, glass, and metal to ceramics and paper, each object has been carefully inspected from innovative perspectives, sparking a new visual narrative. Through a process of magnification and abstraction, minute elements are distilled and transformed until their origins become obscured, giving way to designs that feel both familiar and contemporary.
Unfolding across three expressive chapters: Woven Dream, Enchanted Cabinet, and Paper Trail, Story of Serendipity reflects the beauty of rediscovery through texture, object, and process.
