In the frenetic rhythm of urban life, a simple underground journey becomes a voyage of inspiration – a continuous dialogue between architecture and stylistic languages ranging from Art Nouveau to streetwear. An Art Nouveau–inspired sign accompanies us towards the station, recalling the refined motifs of the labels by MET Manifattura Etichette Tessute, while the sophisticated interplay of colours by Carreman International – Passion Flexi mirrors the tones of the entrance opening onto the centre of the square. As we descend the stairs, the scene changes: we are welcomed by a contemporary, almost futuristic architecture, where neon lights trace the route and bathe the space in the same greys and blues as Technow. Shortly afterwards, the soft canvases by Linas LT reinterpret the geometry and colours of the platform and the train we board. Another train glides past ours, revealing the opposite side of the station: two red lines and a sequence of images animate the wall, echoing the bold tones and aesthetic of Remmert ribbons. Meanwhile, the elegant stripes by Thomas Mason invite us to look beyond the window, where an imposing architecture of arches and glass façades reveals itself in all its grandeur. The train emerges from the underground, crossing a brown-hued bridge and brushing past a grey building, a reflection of the essential elegance of the natural fibres by Estethia G.B. Conte – Marzotto Group. Then, the light filtering through the windows illuminates the soft striped fabrics by Besani. Upon arrival, an iron structure with the station sign captures our attention, recalling the graphic contrast of the ribbon and label by Olimpias Labels. And once off the train, Ocean accessories reveal themselves like the columns supporting the ceiling, embodying at the same time the pillars of the underground spirit of the metro.
