Tourists

Material Story

Dreaming of summer day trips, we observe the enthusiasm of tourists who, light-heartedly, capture each instant with a photo. Every adventure begins with the journey: perhaps on a coach whose interiors recall the freshness of the white and sky-blue jerseys by I.T.J.V. Têxteis. Upon arrival, the bright colours by Manifattura Foderami Cimmino shine like a market stall filled with hand-painted souvenir bowls. Strolling through the streets, a girl in a striped dress asks us for a photo in front of a sand-coloured building, creating that elegant chromatic harmony so typical of CNC Tessuti. In a livelier corner of the city, Joker’s prints interlace like a mosaic of colourful stickers, while a little further on another girl, with wavy blonde hair, photographs the architecture wearing a T-shirt and skirt that seem born from the fabrics by Alberto Bardazzi. Inside a souvenir shop, the So.Tex.Co International canvases are arranged like a series of cheerful, colourful coasters. Down at the harbour, a couple pose for a photo amidst shades of blue and anthracite that evoke the linens by Libeco, while elsewhere the beige stripes by Texmoda blend with blue denim effect, creating a romantic snapshot in front of the Eiffel Tower. In an alley lined with small bazaars, four rows of suspended umbrellas form a rainbow canopy reminiscent of the fabrics by Impresa Tessile. Finally, as the day draws to a close, the pink and black by Positive Materials merge in the sky, painting the sunset that ends the excursion and imprints itself in memory like one last, wonderful photograph.
