Heading towards the horizon, surrounded by seascapes that look like painted canvases, we set sail for a day suspended between sails, waves and a gentle sense of freedom far from the shore. We depart before the sun has fully risen, as the sea is tinged with a golden light, broken by white sails that evoke the delicate contrasts of the fabrics created by Tessitura Mauri. Once out on the open sea, the orange and blue silks by Les Tissages Perrin seem to envelop the landscape, turning wind and waves into an embrace of colour. To furl the sails, we pull the ropes, whose textures and hues echo those of Aeffe’s trimmings. With the sails lowered, Blitz Star zips open, tracing the lines of the bow immersed in the calm sea. Other ropes coiled around the cleats recall the strength and elegance of Passamaneria Frassinetti’s accessories, while the white labels by Formeidee appear arranged like a billowing sail, ready to catch the wind against the endless blue. As the sun begins to set, the sky takes on the same warm, delicate shades as the pure silks by Pongees Specialisti in Seta, while Duesse labels rest like a boat with its sails furled, inviting us to savour the stillness of sunset before heading back towards the shore. On the return journey, the twilight light envelops the sea, reflecting on the cottons by Halley Stevensons, while the brilliant fibres by Inter Jersey Milano urge us on for one last voyage towards the horizon, where the starry sky is mirrored in the water, transforming the boundless sea into a waking dream, suspended between reality and poetry.
