The poetry of balconies

Material Story

Between railings and flowering pots, balconies reveal themselves as suspended geometric patterns, composing silent verses that run through historic buildings and contemporary architecture. The outdoor seating area of a café comes alive with pink blossoms: a balcony hosts the sign and becomes a delicate explosion of colours and textures, the same energy that animates the craftsmanship by Forza Giovane Art. The multicoloured buckles and studs by MTWH Group line up like a metal window projecting from the wall, punctuated by small flowers. Nearby, a pristine white building with a wooden balcony transfers its elegant tones to the natural fibres by GMF Marzotto Fabrics – Marzotto Group, while the cotton by Tejidos Rebés, dressed in white and adorned with floral motifs, reflects the light of the corner balconies of an immaculate structure. Elsewhere, a veranda emerges beside the branches of a tree: its Liberty-style decorations echo in the prints by Texta by Fasac, while Ducotex canvases absorb the hues of the wall and the patterns of another railing, also enlivened by the greenery of a plant. On the façade of a building, windows are framed by wooden brackets supporting pots brimming with life, infusing A.C.M. accessories with warm beige and brown nuances. Shindo Textile Europe ribbons are arranged with architectural rhythm, evoking the neoclassical balustrades of a white building. Finally, a timeworn wall hosts a lush balcony: its tones are reborn in the soft jerseys by Jackytex, while the RWS-certified virgin wools by Piacenza 1733 – Piacenza Group evoke the colours and textures of a flower-laden outlook set against a radiant orange backdrop, sealing the poetry of domestic architecture.
