NISHIJIN TEXTILES is a collective of weavers operating a textile business that represents Japan through its techniques and beauty, a tradition that has continued uninterrupted since the Heian period.
Nishijin textiles are pre-dyed patterned fabrics produced in Kyoto (Nishijin), characterized by high variety and low volume production, and are a traditional craft representing Japan.
From classical to modern, we challenge new applications in fashion and interiors with art-like textiles created through intricate, multi-colored expressions woven with gold and silver threads.
We bring Nishijin-ori, a Japanese traditional craft where tradition and modernity coexist, to the world.
