Wearing the right sportswear, we step into the gym for a revitalising workout, where sweat become energy, toxins melt away, and calories are transformed into strength. After a quick warm-up, we find ourselves in a room immersed in deep black carpet and walls, lit here and there by brightly coloured kettlebells, echoing the vibrant resin accessories by Lampa. An orange carabiner and Ocean details seem to summon the powerful image of a freshly loaded 45-pound weight plate on a barbell: the start of a challenge. A little further on, a red ball breaks the dark monotony of the floor, evoking the colour palette by Bottonificio Lenzi 1955. The Mabo buckle and buttons are laid out like the components of a weightlifting station, made poetic by the view of a sunset softening the atmosphere. In another room, a red wall provides the backdrop for a neat row of kettlebells, lined up as if awaiting a group class, elegantly reflecting the tones by Myzip zips. Then, two cords – one blue, one yellow – by Arpex Textiles stretch and intertwine like a battle rope, testing arm and core strength in an exercise of pure power. Ahead, a plate in graduated shades of light blue rests on a barbell nestled within a red metal rack, echoing the nuances of the Metalworks – MTWH Group buttons. On the floor, the petrol-coloured TencelTM by Dragoni takes the shape of a mat, inviting us to a round of press-ups on a soft, welcoming surface. Finally, in front of a wall the same deep purple as Inter Jersey Milano, a man gracefully lifts into a handstand with perfect control. For us, it’s the final moment: we head towards the treadmills, where the elastic bands by Nastrotex Cufra keep us company, reflecting the colours of the sunset sky during our cool-down – a moment to slow the breath and transform exertion into well-being.
