Toy collection

Material Story

From miniature cars and aircraft to action figures inspired by cult films and iconic manga, we enter a world where the toy becomes a work of art, a collector’s item, and a symbol of a passion to be proudly preserved. A lit display case reveals a colourful army of Bearbricks, their glossy surfaces reflecting onto Mainetti Reca labels in a play of colours that draws the eye. Just beyond, ribbons by Société Choletaise de Fabrication intertwine gracefully, while Star Wars clone troopers are transformed into scaled figurines. In front of a vintage Fantastic Four comic cover, the Silver Surfer figure stands tall: its gleaming silver merges with the red background, creating a vibrant zippers composition by Lanfranchi Lampo Zippers that evoke strength and dynamism. Labmoda’s black embroidery conceals within it a soft white fabric, as clear as glass, upon which Japanese action figures seem to come to life against the dark backdrop that frames them. The timeless heroism of a vintage Batman is reflected in the meticulous black and grey accessories by Metalbottoni, while the sunny, playful jacquard pattern by Piave Maitex calls to mind a cheerful Lego collection, carefully arranged on a grey base. On one shelf, a model car display case stands out – a detailed recreation of a garage interior, complete with wooden walls whose natural tones harmonise with the tag shades by Fec*Serilabel di Facchinetti, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere. Higher up, the white, red and blue hues of Redmark labels are arranged to recreate the image of a LED-lit display case, where two figurines gleam beneath another two. A tiny brick-built airport hosts miniature planes, conjuring memories of the charming luggage tag by MET Manifattura Etichette Tessute, while the vibrant geometries of the Lemar pattern appear to dance around a chaotic yet wonderful array of car models – a small, colourful world where every detail tells the story of a dream in miniature, cherished in the heart of every collector.
