Soft outlines

Material Story

Let yourself be embraced by the sinuous features of this homage to soft-edged design inspired by the 1960s. The chunky cylindrical legs of the enveloping black seats appear padded, much like Thermore – Gruppo Fisi’s cushion made from recycled fibre. The red quilting by Brunello Linings / Brunello Fabrics rises in rounded shapes that echo the whimsical Eclisse lamps, while an armchair with arched lines is wrapped in the soft jersey fabric by Casa da Malha. The precise lines by Géneros de Punto Fabrés flow in wavy rows reminiscent of sinuously geometric ceiling chandeliers. A chair with an asymmetric silhouette is miniaturised in the form of eccentric buttons with an almost draped appearance, crafted by Lartigianabottoni. Ocean accessories combine to form a glass lamp with a slightly flattened round shape. Gold and silver pouffes with rounded contours are reflected in the textured furnishings by Viola – Vamp. Satab ribbons follow the fluid lines of a painting leaning beside a stool with a curved seat, while two small figures sculpted in an embrace echo the form of Gritti 1924’s buttons. Meanwhile, the vivid orange by 3C Company’s stretch tube adds a pop of colour to the bottom of the white rocking chair, giving it the unmistakable flair of a timeless design.
