Opening a book on art history transports us to the heart of a city where architecture has remained frozen in time since the early twentieth century, amidst Liberty-style buildings and Art Nouveau ornamentation. A building with softened corners reflects its graceful curves onto the Sedatex print, while the pattern by Liberty Fabrics perfectly captures the embellishments of a dark doorway framed by a pale green arch. Stepping inside, we find ourselves in a magnificent early 1900s building, its floors connected by a staircase with black railings that trace the elegant design by Bedini F.lli. Then, in another building, silk satin by Canepa is adorned with delicate floral decorations that echo the pale blue ceiling. This time we climb the stairs and decide to explore one of the flats, where the inlaid wooden furnishings mirror the flowers found on the viscose by Lisa - Top Project - Premium. The soft texture by Emil Jersey Fabric and Knitwear Division recreates the subtle decorative contrast seen in the tiled floor. We continue by returning to the staircase, which, in the dark, takes on the same chestnut hue as the pattern by Selecta Como. Upon exiting, the jacquard by Ezio Ghiringhelli draws our attention to the splendid ironwork decorating the main gate. The courtyard is covered by a majestic glass roof, beneath which lies a lush greenhouse painting a charming Paisley motif onto the satin by Mitwill Textiles. Finally, the silk blend by Limonta creates a pleasing patchwork that reflects the colours of the metro sign pointing us towards the enchanting Liberty-style underground stations we are about to explore.
