We fly across the world to the stunning landscapes of China, where unspoilt lands meet age-old constructions. In autumn, the marvellous orange foliage — reminiscent of the canvas by Tessuti di Sondrio – Marzotto Group — embraces the brickwork of the Great Wall, while the camouflage print by Halley Stevensons mirrors the colours of the Wangxian Valley. The enchanting hues of the Zhangye mountains are reflected in the wool blend by Flame. The MT1958 by Manifattura Mario Tonetti twill recalls the majestic green of the Wulong Karst National Geology Park, followed by the trees surrounding the Huanglong temple creating a pleasing texture upon the wool by Estethia G.B. Conte – Marzotto Group. The refined tartan by Albiate 1830 evokes the delicate contrast between rocks and plants around another small temple. The towering peaks of the Meili Xueshan range in Yunnan surround the inhabited valley, echoing the subtle Gipitex pattern. Cashmere and silk fibres by Ermenegildo Zegna intertwine, recreating the texture of a glacier wall, while snow covers the path of the Great Wall, revealing bricks in the same shade as the piece-dyed fabric by Tessilmaglia. Finally, at dusk, the deep blue by Leathertex — Umberto Lenzi reflects the magnificent tones of Mount Laojun, lit by the splendid lights of its temples.
