To immerse ourselves in the magic of the circus arts, we witness a lively and surreal performance – an interplay of comedy, dizzying acrobatics, eccentric costumes, and fiery dances. On a dimly lit stage, a figure in an absurd striped costume moves among red and blue posters, echoing the checked cashmere by Quaregna – La Tela di Penelope, while the lavish feathers by Galeottipiume appear to form the orange wings of a whimsical costume. In the darkness, pierced by clouds of theatrical smoke, a performer seems to skip rope atop a sphere, recalling the sinuous shapes of the accessories by Gruppo Uniesse Bottoni e Spalline. Outdoors, the checks by Alumo / Eugster + Huber light up in pastel shades, like the big top and the sky where an ethereal acrobat appears to float. A dancer, light as air, glides along the edge of a hemisphere, bathed in the same electric blue as the viscose blend by Felt Collection, while beige merges with blue and red on Eusebio cotton, evoking the tones of three airborne dancers. Not far off, a playful figure in a skirt as green as the virgin wool by Lanificio Corti Marcello delights the audience, balancing atop a tower of tin cans. The light organza by Lamintess drapes to recreate the split of an acrobat suspended mid-air, while another performer cuts through space with her ring of fire, tracing curves that recall the flowing lines by Texlabel. Finally, cotton and Tencel™ are woven into the sturdy canvas by Microtex Cotton Club, completing the shirts of two circus artists who, amid laughter and bows, bring the show to a joyful close.
