Lane di Prato is a textile company found by the desire to combine expertise in fine fibres with a strong commitment to environmental ethics.
We obtained all necessary traceability certifications and joined the Purae project, which promotes the gentle wool of the Italian region Puglia, used in our up to date jacketing and coat fabrics.
Our creative research focuses on three main themes:
Reinterpreting classic patterns in luxury blends of cashmere, alpaca, and mohair, enhanced by new colours such as a red ox blood colour, lime colour, soil and cloud colours.

Developing crêpes for dresses and suits in wool-silk-cashmere, wool-cupro-nylon, and fluid technical fabrics. Flannels are also modernized using the same twisting technique.
Finally, our most innovative challenge: jerseys with a woven look, made with new-generation fibres and enriched by jacquard or multi-layered textures.
In complex times, we believe that the creativity, the research and the sustainability are to remain essential.
