FITECOM was founded in 1993 by technical professionals with long experience in the main sectors of the textile industry. Located in Covilhã, it has a roofed area of approximately 20.000m2 in addition to the outdoor area of 36.000m2.
FITECOM has its own spinning, weaving, finishing and dyeing departments. Their fabrics are essentially 100% wool and wool blends.
As part of its environmental responsibility policy, FITECOM has a photovoltaic park that guarantees electrical autonomy during the day and is in the process of implementing a new WWTP that will allow it to recover around 60% of the liquid effluents from production for water used in its manufacturing process.
FITECOM has an ICS social audit to improve working conditions along global supply chains. Quality is one of its main concerns, having a laboratory certified by DuPont, where products are controlled, from raw materials to the final product.
FITECOM is licensed by The Woolmark Company for the production and commercialization of Woolmark products.
FITECOM is a GRS and RWS certified company. Its products are certified by OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 and accredited by The Lycra Company.

Autumn/Winter 2026/2027

This year, the cold season will be full of comfort and softness. Fabrics with soft touches will be the big bet in this new Autumn/Winter 2026/2027 collection from FITECOM.
Cashmere wool will be one of those responsible for this more delicate and pleasant touch, which is highlighted again in this collection.
With items designed for both men and women, with attractive colors and bold prints, which gain new prominence in this edition.
FITECOM's commitment to sustainability is increasingly strong, evidenced by the continuation of articles composed of recycled mixed fibers (GRS) produced in an environmentally and socially responsible way, as well as the RWS certification.
Additionally, FITECOM has an ICS social audit to improve working conditions along global supply chains.
