Bodily experience

Eco-Sustainable Story

Sensory experiences, ready to be discovered and lived, are hidden in the world around us. Tethered to it by our bodies, we come to know it through our senses. From sight to taste, we assemble pieces of an image that ultimately becomes whole. With open eyes, we notice the details, much like the vegetable ivory buttons by Knopf und Knopf International observe nature. We let our hands caress surfaces, guiding us in the contemplation of touch. Fingers glide over the smooth, soft, yet delicate jersey by Jackytex. In a mirror of water, they brush against its surface tension, sensing a slight resistance like a film, much like a recycled polyester fabric by Lamintess. Moving slowly, the liquid barely registers as it wets fingertips and then the body. From hair, drops trickle down an amber back, gleaming in the brief space between skin and air like pearly buttons by Bottonificio Silga, tapping the skin at uneven rhythms. It’s the texture — seemingly uniform but subtly marked — like a responsible wool fabric by Botto Giuseppe, that makes touch perceptible, and through it, we feel the gentle caresses on our bodies. It covers us from head to toe, where feet topple small dunes of sand, engaging in granular sensations akin to the organic cotton fabric by TMG Textiles (GPSA). Suddenly, in the span of a deep breath, the wind blows through hair that moves like a wave of vital energy, lifting lightly off the shoulders like a fabric by Boselli & C. In the celebration of a moment, the body becomes the artistic canvas of an intimate experience. A play of shadows, woven into the jacquard by Corti Giuseppe Tessitura Jacquard, reveals a design inspired by the fervour of the inner soul. Curves and contours follow the structure of bones, which emerge under the tension of the snug, rosy layer of Good Earth Cotton® by Casa da Malha, tracing the spine as it arches in a personal embrace. From the throat, vibrations rise, turning into words as lips — wrapped in chiffon by Stam Art Group — part to speak.
