Silkomo Srl is a family-owned textile company founded in 1985 in Como, at the heart of Italy’s renowned silk textile district. Initially established as an inkjet printing house for some of the world’s leading fashion brands, the company has gradually expanded its expertise to include a finishing department for fabric preparation and washing.

With a team of specialized designers, Silkomo offers a comprehensive, high-quality service that spans the entire production cycle: from the initial CAD design to the finished product. The printing house is capable of working on all types of fibers, from simple polyester to the finest silks, as well as technical fabrics like fil coupé and recycled fibers.

In 2019, the company further enhanced its offerings by introducing a dedicated Jacquard line. This collection features a wide array of Made in Italy fabrics, including tweeds, chanels, brocades, taffetas, and mikados.

Silkomo Srl is also committed to environmental sustainability. The company holds GRS (Global Recycled Standard), OEKO-TEX, and (Global Organic Textile Standard) certifications, ensuring a responsible and eco-friendly production process.

When it comes to prints, floral patterns, geometries, and brocades are among the most requested, while for Jacquard fabrics, we offer an even broader range that includes numerous variations and styles. Taffetas and mikados are our flagship products, often enhanced with exclusive details such as colored chains and innovative finishes.

Creativity is at the heart of our designs: from micro-patterns to logos and even full landscapes, each collection is crafted to reflect the style and trends of the season. We alternate vintage-inspired brocades with contemporary floral designs, tailoring every detail to the seasonality and preferences of our clients.
