In addition to using a melange yarn with 50% recycled material and the other 50% organic content, to stabilize the knit we have used an alternative polyester.

*This polyester is modified by a mixture of organic compounds (that do not interfere with the final product properties), but when the yarn is exposed to an environment with the right condictions (such as biologically active ladfills) the polymer change process begin, degrading significanly faster that normal polyester.
