Like ants

Material Story

A walk among monumental architectures, capable of making us feel like tiny presences – like ants – moving through real and gigantic patterns. A pristine structure with a minimalist and contemporary design envelops the space, reflecting its neutral tones onto the fabrics by Majocchi, NT, while the jerseys by Trimalhas – Knit Inspiration absorb the deep chromatic nuances of an urban building defined by rigorous geometries. Further on, the towering columns of a memorial hold the sunlight, transforming it into the beige and pale blue patterns by Alumo / Brennet / Eugster & Huber. The cotton by Destro Fabrics intensifies into shades of black and grey, echoing the magnetic texture of a travertine wall. A Scandinavian-inspired construction, sculpted in white marble and crossed by immense glass windows, reflects its luminosity onto the cashmere blends by Tessitura Grandi & Rubinelli – Hausammann + Moos 1811. Elsewhere, the wool fabrics by Nova Fides intertwine like a pale floor marked by dark lines that evoke an elegant tartan pattern. Meanwhile, two lowered shutters and a wall in pinkish hues take shape within the cotton canvases by Tessitura di Albizzate – T.B.M. Group. The fabrics by 3C Company instead merge into a balance of greys, stripes and checks, like an urban glimpse where architecture seems to transform into pure geometry. In an intimate space, the light filtering through the windows draws a refined checked motif that is reflected, together with cream tones, onto the canvases by Fiveol Textil. Finally, the corduroy and pinstripe fabrics by CM Tessuti evoke the contrast between an immense curved wooden wall and a dark floor, reminding us once again of humanity’s ability to create grandiose architectures of almost sublime beauty.
