One way out

Material Story

One of the rare moments in life when it's possible to enjoy the feeling of being lost, in a place almost magical, where you can lose yourself knowing that there is only one right path. Dense walls of hedges, as vividly green as Tessitura Corti's twill, create winding paths and playful abstract shapes. The transparent fabric by Maglificio Alto Milanese mirrors the sharp outlines of the rigid walls of another labyrinth, seen from above. The colour of certain walls blends with the greyish floor, giving life to IME Fabrics’ mélange jersey, while the delicate canvas by Puig Ubach brightens the corridors that lead to the exit. The bricks of an ancient labyrinth outline a geometric pattern on Tessport’s cotton. The captivating shades of the Waltex Tricot Manufacture sweatshirt echo the worn-looking ground upon which stand the partitions of what appears to be a large room divided into several spaces. Some staircases intersect, creating the illusion of chaos also found in the perfectly woven twill by Knipidee International. The Beppetex jacquard evokes the intricate structure surrounding a house, as if offering protection, while tall, perfectly trimmed bushes form a diamond pattern on Linas’ canvas. Finally, the stitching by Trapuntatura Bel Punto – Minervahub arranges itself like glowing walls of a small labyrinth we can return to, to lose ourselves again whenever we feel the need.
