Let’s imagine a rainy November Sunday, where we spend the whole day savouring the sweet and comforting flavours typical of autumn and winter. A hot coffee and a croissant enjoyed in bed, among colourful sheets that echo the GM Fabrics pattern, while the labels by Close to Clothes recall the slices of orange and other ingredients we’ll use for mulled wine. In a pot, the wine begins to blend with the orange, creating the beautiful bordeaux hue by Jozwiak. The warm double-faced fabric by Quaregna – La Tela di Penelope brings to mind the delicious tones of apple pie, tempting us to cut ourselves a slice. To warm up, we make another coffee, its froth reminiscent of the texture in the two-tone Isla fabric. The corduroy by Infinity – Codice – JJ Moon recalls the delightful softness of chocolate and peanut butter cups. Later, we decide to enjoy a warm milk infused with cinnamon, which colours the delicate Joker’s twill, while the check pattern by My Lab reminds us to take the cinnamon rolls – arranged like a grid – out of the black tray. Five o’clock arrives, and it’s tea time. Once it’s ready, we place the cup and a plate of biscuits next to a knit with the same woven texture as the yarn-dyed thread by Giannetti Piero Lanificio. Finally, as evening falls, the shimmering vinyl by Frizza reflects the rich red of a glass of mulled wine – bringing our sweet and comforting flavour journey to a perfect close.
