Volcanic landscapes

Material Story

From ancient volcanic eruptions were born islands of millennia-old lava. These are places to visit and explore, where rugged, mountainous nature reveals its multifaceted beauty: arid, seemingly hostile beaches often give way to a lush, living heart. As you ascend towards the peaks and peer through the leaves of a Clerici Tessuto / Industry print, the panorama becomes mystical. The craters of volcanoes rise from a white sea of clouds like portals to another world. Water carves its path through steep, dark rocks, piercing the brown surface of a Lanificio Becagli fabric, cascading down a steep trail to the sea. There, it meets a jagged expanse of black rocks and boulders stretching along the coastline, reminiscent of a Frizza fabric. From active volcanoes, dense ash-grey smoke rises, slowly falling and sliding over the mountains, cloaking them in a Texco cashmere-blend cloth. A small crater now cradles a lake, its fluid veins shaped by once-liquid dry magma, resembling the texture of blue jeans from an Etigroup label. Volcanic islands offer breathtaking glimpses of paradise, where crystal-clear water gently laps against the stone. These are places that embody the essence of nature, where the four elements coexist in perfect harmony, blending together with majestic force. A Marini Industrie fabric captures the serene stillness surrounding the stony shores of Pantelleria, while buttons by Knopf und Knopf International seem scattered among smooth, rounded rocks on a beach in the Seychelles. Stone pierces the ocean without warning, and suddenly, a mountain rises before your eyes. Vibrant green moss, much like the labels by Duesse, carpets the dormant peak. Pools of seawater remain trapped between black sand and a sun-scorched, reddish basin. Burnt hues bear the mark of fire's passage, while minerals dye the basin with patterns akin to a Ghioldi veil. The pitch-black fabric by Borgini Jersey + Fashion Jersey returns to the place of its origin. At the base of a coal-black mountain, ash forms a shoreline against deep, ebony waves. A dark panorama breaks where it meets the bright sky.
