Rues de Paris

Material Story

A different light illuminates the streets of Paris on spring days when the city blossoms and flourishes after the grey winter. A walking tour through the city reveals its unique charm and the romantic atmosphere lingering in the air. Along the wide boulevards, windows offer small bouquets of flowers, just as delicate roses gently fall into an embroidery by Albert Guegain Broderies. In an elegant garden, one strolls leisurely, pausing under the shade of trees filtering the sunlight – a serene view woven into a fabric by Ruffo Coli. With the regularity of AGM’s striped patterns, wrought-iron balconies align symmetrically against the powder-pink façade of a building. The scarlet pink curtains of an Itttai - Minervahub fabric become inviting signals in the French windows of a restaurant, blending seamlessly with the refinement of the city. Cafés in the city centre elevate their style with carefully selected exterior details in a charming retro aesthetic. The woven patterns of the chairs inspire the texture of a Besani fabric, stretched out to admire the Eiffel Tower peeking at the end of the avenue. As it draws nearer, the tower seems to weave its way between the buildings, creating a net-like effect with Lorenzo Tessuti, where pale plaster and black metal align perfectly with the soul of the Ville Lumière. Since the 19th century, decorative gears have supported the bridge over the canal. Time has revealed the natural hues of iron, reflected in a Reggiani fabric. In the city's covered passages, a Texcart label immerses itself in the unique elegance of finely decorated galleries and stained glass – graceful and refined, lightening the architectural structure. A narrow staircase winds steeply through the verticality of the buildings, whose pristine geometry whispers a quiet sophistication to passersby and to a striped fabric by Microtex Cotton Club. The Haussmannian style makes the capital unmistakable, with every corner and alley seemingly adorned with glass-like reflections in a Milior fabric, softening the solidity of the buildings as warm light bounces off their surfaces.
