Blurred

Material Story

The lens blurs and melts the figures, which expand beyond their outlines, so that the landscapes and surrounding views thin out as if under a photographic impressionism. A soft luminous haze frames a face that appeared in a dream, absorbing colours into the white folds by Omniapiega. With a long exposure, one captures the fall of a stormy wave whose beaten foam splashes shards of water onto an E. Thomas fabric. A game played with your nose pointed upward slices apart everything overhead, and small fragments of leaves and flowers chase each other across a Novalansa - Premiertex fabric. By the riverbank, the eye rests on the rock, unyielding to the flow that slips away in a mantle of TMG Textiles (GPSA) fabric. The simplest object acquires an imaginative power, giving life to the fantasy of a world enclosed in a glass vase. Drawn into a spiral, the ears of wheat become slender stems for Minardi Piume feathers, lost in motion. The daisies dominate the meadow, suffocating the grass with their apparent 'see-through' presence, white like a Brugnoli fabric. Form dissolves, and intangible columns render the subjects unrecognizable, overwhelmed by the brilliance of nature's essence that floats in the radiant green of an Olimpias Fabrics fabric. Shades and overlays snap photographs from an otherworldly realm, a breath of magic and mysticism perceived in the crystalline blue of a Picchi fabric. It's beautiful to lose oneself every now and then in an immaterial vision, to be veiled by a cloud of iridescence and the surprising hues of Framis Italia ribbons. The 'all-around' lends itself to a heightened flou-like spectacle, an unreal film in the fuchsia-orange print of a Stampatextyl fabric. Darting through neon pink, LED beams, and strobe lights strike the Lanfranchi Lampo Zippers in a cinematic chase.
