Sowing and harvest

Eco-Sustainable Story

In vast fields and small patches of land, the sowing yields its fruits. From the fertile soil, small blades of grass sprout that, with much dedication, will cloak the natural soil's brown streaks with vivid green and golden cereals. The tall wheat spikes grow dense, dry and woody, yet they resemble a soft and short recycled wool fabric by Pontetorto. The tractor draws straight and parallel lines on the green cultivation, ploughing uniform strips of a forest-like recycled cotton fabric by TMG Textiles. The vibrant yellow of Furpile Idea certified RWS stands out among the earthy tones of the neighbouring seedless fields. As on a fabric by Lanificio Cipriani, so on the smooth ground, the geometric boundaries delineated by the harvest are revealed. The crop loses its top and the pallor of the elastic accessory by Completex'09 is exposed before the silver-white ribbons of Remmert, tinged with beige, cover the field during the winter sleep. After months, the plantations grow in a continuous piqué by CFM / RDD Conscious Fabric Makers. There, where small paths once sank into the soft, freshly ploughed soil, as in a striped fabric by Riopele Texteis. The farmer equitably divides the fabric of Magma Têxtil, vegetables are distributed in neat and orderly cuttings, while on the virgin wool of Fitecom, kilometre-long rows of lavender soften the stony bed.
