Eco-Sustainable Story

Ecological fabrics and yarns accompany you on your way up, one step at a time all the way to the top. Steps ease the climb through the landscape and become part of the surrounding nature. The streaked grey of a fabric by Teseo - Tessitura Serica di Olmeda shows you the narrow passageway between huge boulders on the mountain. TG di Fabio transports you to a wild beach thanks to the crisp weave that gives the fabric a special texture. Albiate 1830’s organic fabric evokes a stroll through a wood amongst grey stone and green vegetation. Up the damp, earthy climb, small trunks make the journey as comfortable as a fabric by Lanificio Roma. What goes up must come down, leading to a blue wool by Botto Giuseppe, while Tessitura Marco Pastorelli descends the steps of a little village cut into the rock. On the cliff, a simple metal ramp adds colours to the yarns by Madeira Embroidery Threads. Moving into town, a flyover is accessed by a large wooden staircase that inspires the checked fabric by Pontetorto. On chilly, misty autumn mornings, fallen leaves will soon colour the woody path, resembling a herringbone by Lanificio Luigi Zanieri, while Boselli & C. brings a breath of fresh air by whisking us to a little countryside village where grass grows against walls and adds colour to the low, wide steps of a shadowy alleyway.
