The pirate route

Material Story

Old pirate tales tell of treasure maps leading beyond the horizon, where the water meets the sky. Guarding the secrets of the seven seas, corsairs spend their lives between voyages and ports, hungry for adventurous encounters and memorable conquests. As the wind fills immense, strong sails by Spence Bryson Linens, the ship sets sail for new lands. Atop the mast, a flag flutters in a black as dark as the jersey by Inwool Jersey. A jealously guarded medallion represents the pirate’s identity. A symbol dear to his travelling crew is reworked in buttons by Bottonificio Lenzi 1955. Under the bright daytime sun, the hands of a compass are the only guide in which the poles move within the bronze frame of a fabric by Manifatture Italiane Scudieri - Mectex div.. Navigating wind and currents, the ship sails through rippling water, resembling the glossy and matt rippled fabric by Tessitura di Albizzate - TBM Group. Below deck, a wooden bench serves as a throne for the crucial treasure map, pencil markings on the yellowing map are printed on Lisa’s fabric. After picking up their weapons, the crew is ready to storm the sand-coloured tower by Felt Collection. Texmoda covers the long-sought treasure chest with irregular veining. The loot inside includes gold coins and gemstones that shine as brightly as a sequinned embroidery by HOH Hoferhecht Stickereien. A danger-filled voyage ends victoriously amidst storms, scorching sun and waters infested with blood-red sea monsters, like a fabric by Piacenza 1733.
